<text>This Cy Running painting is of an autumn landscape depicting the windswept plains of the region. A large round-top golden haystack sits in the lower right quadrant of the foreground, behind an aged fence line of tilting wood posts and loose, rusty barbed wire. A pond in the middle ground reflects the blue gray sky and a farmstead marked by a large red barn sits in the distance in the middle of the composition. The sky represents the top half of the image. It is filled with fast moving clouds that may bring a fall or early winter storm. </text>
