<text>Notes: (This is a note from the Daughter of Orlin Storvick, Solveig Pollei) "There is a long, long history between my parents and the Running family starting when my Dad, Dr. Olin J Storvick joined the faculty. There was a monthly book club with faculty from various departments; Faculty Women’s Group; Church, children of similar ages, etc. Dr Running also was instrumental in the start of Dad’s extra career in Archaeology. Dr. Running was the site recorder drawing finds, walls, etc for a dig in Northern Israel near the border with Lebanon. The site was/is Khirbet Shema. There are some drawings in Dad’s office in the College Library. Dad left his work to the College for their archives. Perhaps more than you wanted. My other siblings may have more stories.

My parents bought several Running paintings in addition to a few of Charlie Beck’s works. They enjoyed supporting fellow Concordians as they could. "
