He continued his education at the Art Students League in New York City. For a portion of his life he worked various positions in the film industry including as an assistant to Danny Devito and participating roles in Gilmore Girls and Curb Your Enthusiasm. He married actress Sydney Penny and the two have a son. Robert claims that his art is inspired by and shows "how what we see is always colored by circumstances and how our memories focus to perfect and smooth to less important details." Janis Provisor began her career with her husband, Brad, in New York. She always had a fascination with China and Chinese culture. She and her husband traveled to Hong Kong in the 1990s where they became deeply influenced by the artistic style they saw there. During that time they began making their paintings into Chinese design inspired carpets. During their year in China, Janis also became fascinated in woodblock printing. Alongside her painting and printing, Janis also makes jewelry. Janis and Brad founded the Fort Street Studio in New York. Both Janis and her husband are still actively running their art and jewelry business in New York.</text>

Raymond "Jake" Jacobson was born in Oak City, Utah. He grew up during the depression and learned many positive values such as persistence and hard work that would influence his artistic work later in his life. The natural world, and the beauty he associated with it, became large inspirations for him later in his life. During World War II, Jacobson worked as a bomber pilot. After his years of service, he married Jeanne Warner in 1945 and moved to Colorado where he studied at the University of Colorado at Boulder to receive his Master of Fine Arts degree. He taught at Carlton College from 1955 until retiring in 1986 with the title Professor Emeritus. He was continuously creating new works until his death in 2012 at the age of 91.</text>

Richard, 'Rick', Mikkelson grew up in the Red River Valley and attended Concordia College in 1965. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in art. He also earned an M.A. and an M.F.A in painting from the University of Iowa in 1967 and 1969. Much of his work his inspired by his life growing up in the Red River Valley and Breckenridge, or landscapes in Spain. Many of his works depict landscapes, figures or still lifes. While many of his works are representational, he also focuses heavily on abstraction and symbolism. He chaired the Art Department at the State University of New York - Plattsburgh for 10 years. Currently he works as a professor of drawing and painting at that school.
