The art object is woodcut print depicting a landscape. In the backgound, the sky is a light light gray, rolling hills, from all different elevations, meeting at the horizon line. The hills differ in hues of brown, gray, and gold swirl and intersect at different points in the composition. To compliment the texture and roughness of the ground, the artist utilized line direction and density. Slightly off center in the foregound of the composition, is a cluster of four trees with a strong, dark brown trunk with a fullness of foliage at the top with green hues.
