The art object is a woodcut print of a sunflower. The sunflower is comprised of golden yellow petals with red ink to provide details to the veins of the flower. The center of the flower is dotted with orange and red to provide texture. The flower is balanced on a skinny, green stem and small leaves that stretch to the bottom of the composition. The flower is nicely balanced against a red background.
