This painting on paper depicts a single figure leaning on a short wall in an urban scene.

This is an urban scene including a single figure leaning on a short wall in the front lower left part of the image in front of a white house and a green house. A similar house is located further back and to the left along with a variety of buildings, chimneys and smokestacks. The dominant colors (in watercolor washes) are red, green, and gray. Bold dark ink lines define the structure and create texture throughout the composition.
