Description

This is a linocut of a landscape with writing on the right side. The foreground of the image depicts a portion of land in green. The area above the land is a dark maroon color that transitions into a dark black. The horizon is a small stipe of yellow. The mountain scape in the background shows three stripes of color. The first is a dark blue, almost black, color. The middle stripe is a royal blue color while the top stripe is a light blue. The sky begins in a light yellow and transitions into a light orange at the top of the piece. There is a single line of script at the far right of the piece in an ancient viking form of writing.
This is in a silver metal frame with glass. It was repaired in August of 2004.
