Description

This is a mosaic that shows different types of technologies and innovations of science. The mosaic is made up of 20 different squares that each show different details. Starting at the bottom left, there is a mortar and pestle with the medical caduceus alongside a red RX symbol. At the bottome right is a large satellite that extends outside of the borders of it's box. The background of this portion is made up of a bright red color. The satellite points towards the top left and has three light tan lines extending to the top. Above the satellite is a compass rose in yellow, orange and red colors on top of an abstracted globe that is made up of green and blue colors. Next to the compass rose is a small square with a wavelength symbol in light yellow and tan on a green background. Above the wavelength symbol is a stack of four books, two with red covors, one with a yellow and blue cover, and one with a light tan cover, that are being used as a pedestal for a white scale. To the left of the scale is a long stand of DNA that spans across two squares. The DNA strand is made up of yellow, orange, red and light tan colors. It gets smaller as it moves farther to the left. In two small squares right underneath the strand of DNA are the symbol for male and femal in light grey. Above the strand of DNA is a square filled with green and small lines and dots in white that represents the motherboard of a computer. Next to the motherboard is a desktop monitor and keyboard sitting at an angle in the middle of a 3x3 set of squares. The screen of the computer shows binary code and the computer itself is in a brown color. to the bottom left of the computer is ""www."" and to the bottom right of the computer is "".com"" The top right of the mosaic shows a set of 4 CDs. Each CD shows a different angle. The top right of the mosaic depicts a satellite in grey pointing down to the bottom right. It is connected to the satellite dish through the light tan lines mentioned before. The background of many of the squares is a mixture of light blues and greens. The outline of each square is a dark black with small points of red and blue.
It has a steel frame and a direct mount.
