The artwork is a watercolor painting of a suburbs with a cluster of houses and a group of women talking.

This watercolor/ink wash is a city/town scene depicting a white house with red trim center left. Two women appear with one child and buggy in front of the house. The sky is gray, the trees have no leaves, and birds are flying in the background on the left side. The lower right corner of the composition is a series of abstract geometric marks. Signature and date appear beneath the figures "Running 1957"
