The Road to Redemption

Dublin Core

Subject

This is an oil painting depicting a plane crash from WWII

Description

A crashed red and yellow airplane (WWII vintage) dominates the top center half of the composition, it’s nose tilted upward, the wrecked rear fuselage settled to the ground. A smaller plane sits in the background (upper right) facing outward, to the right. The bottom half of the ground plane is littered with light blue puddles of water interspersed with pink barrels, a gray cylinder, and red hoses. The sky is blackened in the upper left corner and stretches to gold along the center and right behind the plane.
