Description

This is an abstract painting depicting the motion of a cowboy being bucked off of his horse. The painting has a diagonal composition and captures the running narrative a cowboy falling in motion as his horse bucks his legs high. The composition of the painting is enhanced with lively brushstrokes and energetic hues of yellow, green, blue, and red.
This painting was worked on while he was a visiting artist here, it was special that he was deliberate to include some Cobber red in them. He also told us that the markings on the horse are inspired by C’s for Concordia
