Dorothy is on the left while Earl is on the right, and both lean towards the middle of the piece. "Earl B & Dorothy A. Olson" is at the top of the piece and "Parents, Regent, Benefactors. Soli Deo Gloria, Oct 2nd, 1994" is at the bottom of the piece. The crest of Concordia College is cast to the right of Earl.
