The art object is a pamphlet of Duane Mickelson's exhibition, Transformation to Tricksters: Selections from 35 years of Sculpture, 1974-2009. It features an artist statement by Mickelson, writing done by Peter Schultz, and a variety of photographs of Mickelson's exhibition work. The works featured are the following:

* Emerging Birds I, II, III (1987); Bronze, copper, walnut, oil paint; 6-7” x 4” x 5” each
* The Charioteer (1991); Welded steel, found objects, oak, brass; 67” x 56” x 21”
* The Skeptic (1995); Welded steel, found wood; 57” x 80” x 26”
