Description

This is an abstract earthenware piece that consists of layered geometric shapes. The base of this piece is a rectangular shape with two half circles on the front and back of the piece. The main body of the piece is a large inverted pyramid shape. This inverted pyramid is intersected by two large disks, one near the bottom of the piece and mostly visible through the body, and one near the top of the piece and only partially visible through the body. On each edge of the body of the piece are two niches cut into the piece at about a 45 degree angle. The top of the piece is raised and has a half sphere cut out of the very top. The color of this piece is a mixture of a light metallic blue and a brown/red color.
