This is a woodcut of a black and yellow sunflower. Black and pale yellow create a very large center that is much bigger than its small, short leaves.

This is a woodcut of a black and yellow sunflower. The center of the sunflower is unproportionally large to the petals of the flower. The center consists of black and pale yellow to depict the hundreds of seeds in the flower. The leaves are done in a pale yellow and ring the center of the flower in a thin border. The piece sits on a dark black background that has a thin, pale yellow border around the outside edge.
