The Fence

The art object is a woodcut print depicting a fence running through the countryside at night.

The art object is a woodcut print depicting a fence running through the countryside at night. The field on the left side of the piece is in a dark grey with thin black lines, like woodgrain, on top of it. The right side of the field consists of a pale yellow color also covered in thick black lines that appear to be woodgrain. There are four posts to the fence that runs between the two portions of the field. The fourth posts is almost out of sight as the fence rounds the hill on the left side of the field. The sky is done in a dark blue color that is covered in flowing black lines.
