Subject

This piece is a woodcut print with two partial circles on the far right and left that frame straight lines and large, brightly colored geometric shapes.

Description

This piece is an abstract woodcut. The partial circle on the left is maroon in color. Inside are three stripes that begin orange and fade into a dark color. Around the bottom of each stripe are lines that represent ripples beginning in orange and moving to blue and maroon colors. The partial circle on the right is white with a fuchsia trim. A pink triangle and two yellow triangles point towards each other in the center of the piece, with black between them. A blue stripe of color outlines the left most partial circle and continues across the top middle of the piece before moving down on the right side of the piece, framing the middle of the piece. The right side of the piece, around the partial circle, are stripes of light yellow and teal. The background of this portion transitions from orange into blue with small, light, erratic lines decorating the open spaces.
