The art object is a lithograph print of a winter scene. In background, is a pale blue sky with bare trees reaching up. In the middle gorund, on rhe left side of the composition is a small grouping of vibrant buildings in shades of pink, yellow, and blue. Panning to the right, is an ice skating rink populated with multiple figures. To the right of rink is another grouping of buildings placed on a hill with a wrought iron fence. In the foreground, is an ornate wrought iron gate with figures dressed in early 19th century clothing surrounding the entrance. In front of the gate, are evergreen trees in multiple shades of green.
