Title
Subject
This piece is a reduction woodcut in landscape orientation.
Description
This piece is a reduction woodcut in landscape orientation. This piece is illustrating a closeup of flowers in a garden. In the immediate foreground at the very bottom of the image are grasses that take the eye up to taller flowers that take up a large portion of the piece. Most of the flowers are purple, but in the middle of the frame, along the grasses at the bottom is one large yellow flower. The background is a hedgerow or bush that acts as a wall of vegetation that frames the flowers.
